Welcome to Mystery Island Tours! We're all about creating amazing experiences and unforgettable memories for our guests who come to explore the wonders of Mystery Island and Aneityum aboard cruise ships. Our goal is simple: to make sure you have a fabulous time while cherishing every moment spent on our beautiful islands.
At Mystery Island Tours, we take great pride in showcasing the stunning natural beauty that surrounds us. From pristine beaches to breathtaking landscapes, we want you to immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring sights that Mystery Island and Aneityum have to offer. And what makes it even more special? The friendly, smiling faces of our incredible team who are always ready to make your visit extraordinary.
With over 40 Ni-Vanuatu tour guides and staff working alongside us, we're a tight-knit group dedicated to providing you with the best possible experience. Majority of our team hails from the neighboring island of Aneityum, which also happens to be the southernmost island of Vanuatu (Did you know? Vanuatu consists of a remarkable 83 islands!).

Meet the dynamic duo behind Mystery Island Tours: Benie and Samara Masauvakalo. Benie, a proud Ni-Vanuatu with roots in both Aneityum and Efate, brings a wealth of experience as a former PADI scuba diving instructor. With 20 years of expertise in Vanuatu and Australia, he knows the ins and outs of the underwater world like no other. On the other hand, Samara's impressive background spans over 17 years in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. She even had a thriving events company in Port Vila.
It all started back in 2012 when Benie and Samara took a vacation to Thailand. Little did they know, this trip would spark the idea that would become Mystery Island Tours on the stunning Mystery Island in Vanuatu. Their dream turned into reality in February 2015, when Carnival Australia became the first to sell their tours, soon followed by other major cruise lines that visit at the island.
The company now boasts seven tours plus the Tiki Bar.
Great professional folks to deal with, organising it was too easy, we had a great time spending a whole day in a hut with massages and drinks - not to mention the front yard of theirs!! Will highly recommend
